Teen Stream

Teen Stream is a weekly hour hangout for 13-18 year old's to spend time with their friends, make new ones, enjoy refreshments, and take part in optional programming.

June 7th - Picture Frame Art / Mermaid Punch

June 14th - Penpal Workshop / Ocean Water

June 21st - Selfie Day (Instax Camera) / Ocean Floats

June 28th - Customize Your Cup / Mocktails

July 5th - Silhouette Art / Pink Drinks

July 12th - Acrylic Canvas Panting / Iced Hot Chocolate

July 19th - Mutated Art Challenge / Shark Attack Punch

July 26th - Customize Your Magnet / Coconut Water or Milk

Kaylee Horn

Kaylee (she/he/they) did not know they would be a librarian ten years ago, but now they cannot imagine any other place they would be. Special interests include reading manga, watching anime, and taking care of plants and kitties. Kaylee is an alum of Berea College and the University of Kentucky; holding degrees in English Literature and Library Science. Kaylee is the Cataloging Specialist, the Genealogy contact, and a part of the Teen Team. You can find her adding new materials to the system, researching family history, planning programs, or adding cool new items to purchase carts.

McKenzie York

McKenzie is a dedicated children's librarian who has a passion for helping children find their love for reading. McKenzie has lived in Jackson County for her whole life and loves her community. McKenzie is on the track to get her master's in Library Science with a focus in Children's Literature.
